Soothes the Soul
This piece I had created for a class project where I was tasked with creating a playlist and cover art for the playlist. As an avid fan of Classic Rock I chose to make my playlist my favorite Classic Rock songs. I wanted to create a cover that spoke to how the songs in the playlist made me feel. I took inspiration from Bob Seger’s song “Old Time Rock & Roll”, specifically the line “that music just soothes the soul.” With this phrase in mind, I designed a visual representation of how I feel when I listen to these classic, iconic and one-of-a-kind songs.
This piece was shown at Middlesex County College’s Kappa Pi Pop-Up Exhibition in 2022.
Our Own Destruction
I had made this for my senior showcase in 2019. I wanted to show mother nature being hurt by human hands. I wanted to bring light to the fact that the earth is dying and it’s nobody’s fault but our own. That is the reason I titled it
“OUR OWN DESTRUCTION”.
